HUNZA: The water from Attabad lake has inundated more areas, said sources Wednesday.
The water from the lake has entered the spillway. Officials say that the outflow of water from the spillway is expected between May 28 to May 29.
The water has now entered Hussaini village after passing through Shishkat and Gilmat.
From Hussaini, eight houses have been evacuated and the residents have been shifted to relief camps.
So far, 179 houses have been flooded in Shishkat, Aeenabad, Gilmat and the Hussaini village. The Karakoram Highway is also flooded up to 6 kms.
