HUNZA: In upper limits of Attabad Lake water has submerged various areas of Shishkit and Gilmit on Monday.
In the face of breaking down of embankments of the Lake areas of Diyamir on the banks of Indus River have been declared red-zone and session 144 has been imposed.
Water level in the Lake has increased by 2.5 feet in the last 24 hours and water has reached 200 cusecs.
The gap between Lake Water and spillways has narrowed down to eight feet only and an alarming situation has been created.
District Diyamir administration has banned living and transportation on the banks of River Indus.
According to Constabulary, water has began to increase in upper areas of Gilmit
